Instructions

How to Make

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray and line it with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then add sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  • Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients gradually. Stir until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in the diced apples evenly throughout the batter.
  • Mix the cinnamon and sugar for the swirl in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Layer half of the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Add remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Swirl with a knife.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the optional glaze, then drizzle it over the cooled bread.
  • Slice and serve warm, enjoying with loved ones.

Notes

Consider adding chopped nuts for extra crunch. Always sift flour for a light texture.
