  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts lean and boneless

For the Coating

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

For the Topping

  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions

How to Make Baked Chicken Parmesan

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in olive oil, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Arrange the breaded chicken on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Top each piece with marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
