Instructions

How to Make Baked Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

  • In a medium saucepan, add cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 8–10 minutes until the cranberries burst. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Turn your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking this delectable dip.
  • Using a rubber spatula, evenly spread the softened cream cheese into a small baking or pie dish. For added sweetness, mix in honey or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Spoon the warm cranberry mixture over the cream cheese, ensuring it’s evenly distributed to cover the surface.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cream cheese is warmed through and the cranberry topping is bubbling gently at the edges.
  • Once baked, let the dip cool for a few minutes. Top it off with chopped nuts, fresh rosemary, pomegranate seeds, and extra orange zest for an elegant finish. Serve warm with a variety of dippers like crackers, toasted baguette slices, pretzels, or crisp veggies.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is fully softened at room temperature for easy spreading and a creamy consistency.
