- 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- to taste salt

For the Toppings
- 1 cup ketchup (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce leaves (optional)
- 1 cup sliced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 cup sliced pickles
- to taste ketchup, mustard, or other condiments (optional)
- to taste fresh herbs (optional)
Cooking Steps
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened, releasing a sweet aroma.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined, then set aside to let the flavors meld.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange your flatbreads or pitas on a lined baking sheet, making sure there's enough space for even baking.
Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over each flatbread, then generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread turn golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and pile on your favorite toppings, like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and any condiments you love. Garnish with fresh herbs for a colorful finish.
Cut the flatbreads into slices or serve them whole for a fun, interactive meal that everyone can enjoy.
When making Cheeseburger Flatbreads, finely chop the onion for even cooking. Avoid overcooking the beef to prevent dryness. Keep an eye on the cheese during the last few minutes of baking.
