Instructions

How to Make Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 24–30 squares. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square, pinching the edges to seal them tightly.
  • Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet seam-side down to form a Christmas tree shape.
  • Beat the egg in a small bowl and lightly brush it over the dough balls.
  • Bake the dough for 15–20 minutes or until it’s golden brown and puffed up.
  • Mix the melted butter with the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley while the bread bakes.
  • Brush the warm bread generously with the garlic butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, or more parsley.
