Instructions

How to Make Chocolate Chip Sweet Bread

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla to the creamed mixture, and mix well.
  • Combine flour and baking powder in another bowl, whisk together.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool the loaf in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
