Instructions

How to Make Chocolate Dipped Heart Rice Krispie Treats

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter. Stir continuously until the marshmallows are fully melted and glossy, which usually takes about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and gently fold in the 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal.
  • Lightly grease a heart-shaped pan, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom.
  • Allow the treats to cool and set in the pan for about 30 minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips along with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  • Once the Rice Krispie hearts are set, gently dip each one into the melted chocolate and place them on wax paper to cool.

Notes
