Ingredients

For the Batter

  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Buttermilk

For the Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup Fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a cupcake pan with colorful liners.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well.
  • Pour in vegetable oil, large eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in fresh raspberries and chocolate chips.
  • Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

Notes
