For the Truffle Mixture
- 1 package Oreo cookies crushed finely
- 8 oz Cream cheese softened
For the Coating
- 8 oz White chocolate for coating
- 1 cup Chocolate sprinkles optional
How to Make Cookies & Cream Truffle Balls
Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until you have fine crumbs.
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with softened cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top of dipped truffles before the chocolate sets.
Let the coated truffles sit until the chocolate hardens, then serve.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
For the best texture, crush the Oreo cookies finely and use softened cream cheese.
