Ingredients

For the Bread

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 cup dried cranberries plus extra for topping
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

For the Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk adjust to desired consistency
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips melted for drizzle

Instructions

Making the Bread

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  • Beat the softened butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then incorporate the sour cream or Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
  • Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool the bread in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Making the Frosting

  • Beat the cream cheese and softened butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Adjust consistency with milk.
  • Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled loaf and drizzle the melted white chocolate on top. Sprinkle extra dried cranberries for garnish.
