Instructions

How to Make Crispy Fried Ravioli

  • Begin by cooking the ravioli according to package instructions. Once done, let them cool on a plate, allowing them to firm up for easier handling during the breading process.
  • Organize your ingredients by placing flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan in a third.
  • Carefully coat each ravioli first in the flour, ensuring an even layer. Next, dip them into the beaten eggs, and finally, coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture until fully covered.
  • In a deep pan, heat oil over medium heat, enough to submerge at least half of the ravioli while frying.
  • Gently place the breaded ravioli into the hot oil in batches. Fry until they turn golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the ravioli from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Plate your crispy fried ravioli and serve them hot with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For an extra crunch, consider double-dipping the ravioli in egg and breadcrumbs. Always drain the fried ravioli on paper towels immediately after frying to maintain their crispiness.
