For the Muffin Batter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup eggnog the star ingredient
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg freshly grated preferred
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to Make Eggnog Muffins
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
Mix together eggnog, sugar, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool the muffins on a wire rack before serving.
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for an extra festive touch.
