Ingredients

For the Muffin Batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup eggnog the star ingredient
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg freshly grated preferred
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

How to Make Eggnog Muffins

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  • Mix together eggnog, sugar, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  • Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool the muffins on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for an extra festive touch.
