How to Make Eggnog Truffles
Heat the cream: In a saucepan, warm the heavy cream over medium heat until it’s just simmering.
Melt the chocolate: Remove the saucepan from the heat and add in the white chocolate chips. Stir gently until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Combine the flavors: Next, mix in the eggnog, rum (or bourbon), vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir until everything is well combined.
Chill the mixture: Transfer the mixture into a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
Scoop and roll: Use a small cookie scoop to take out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls with your hands.
Coat the truffles: Roll each truffle in the crushed graham crackers, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
Chill until firm: Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until firm—about 30 minutes.
Optional: Dust with extra nutmeg before serving for a festive touch. Ensure to store in an airtight container for freshness.
