Instructions

How to Make Garlic Chicken Pasta

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain and set the pasta aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning them generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and golden brown.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and slightly golden.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce seems too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach your preferred consistency.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing well to ensure it’s coated in the cheesy garlic sauce. Divide the servings onto plates and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

Optional: Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. Ensure pasta is cooked al dente to avoid a mushy texture.
