For the Cocoa Bombs
- 1 cup chocolate chips use high-quality chocolate for a rich flavor
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder this is essential for that classic hot cocoa taste
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows they add a delightful surprise when the bomb melts
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar this helps to sweeten the filling and balance the cocoa
How to Make Hot Cocoa Bombs
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently until smooth and glossy, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
Fill half of the silicone mold with the melted chocolate. Use a spoon or a brush to cover the sides evenly, making sure there are no weak spots.
Chill the mold in the fridge for about 10 minutes until the chocolate sets.
Remove the chocolate halves from the mold carefully, peeling it away gently to avoid cracks.
Fill one half with cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Seal the filled half with the other chocolate half, pressing gently to combine.
Let cool completely on a baking sheet.
Store your hot cocoa bombs in an airtight container.
Optional: Add a drizzle of melted chocolate on top for a lovely finishing touch.
