How to Make Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, and diced jalapeños. Blend until well incorporated, then season with salt and pepper to your taste.
Generously spread the creamy cheese and jalapeño mixture onto two slices of your favorite bread.
Place the remaining slices of bread on top of the cheesy mixture to create two sandwiches.
In a skillet over medium heat, add mayonnaise and let it melt.
Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown.
If the bread browns too quickly, lower the heat slightly.
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, slice them in half, and serve warm.
Optional: Garnish with fresh herbs or a side of salsa for an extra zing.
