How to Make Marry Me Chicken
Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides for a flavorful base.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear the chicken breasts for about 5–7 minutes on each side until they're golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate, keeping it warm.
Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and add grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined and gently simmer.
Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle in dried basil and taste to adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve the chicken hot, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serving with a side of pasta or a bed of greens can create a complete meal.
