- 2 cups fresh green beans trimmed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup fried onions divided
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Pastry
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix the filling by combining green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Stir until everything is well blended and creamy.
Incorporate half of the fried onions and half of the cheddar cheese into the mixture.
Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into small squares, about 3 inches each.
Scoop a spoonful of the green bean mixture and place it in the center of each pastry square.
Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Top each bite with the remaining cheddar cheese and fried onions.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.
Cool slightly before serving.
Serve with a side of ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
