- 1 loaf Baguette a fresh, crusty baguette adds the perfect crunch
- 8 oz Mushrooms cremini or shiitake work beautifully
- 1 large Onion caramelizes beautifully, adding sweetness and depth
For Cooking
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil for caramelizing the onions and sautéing the mushrooms
- 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar adds a tangy sweetness

How to Make Mushroom & Caramelized Onion Crostini
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook sliced onions until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Add sliced mushrooms and stir, cooking until soft, about 5 minutes.
Mix in the balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes.
Top each toasted slice with the mushroom and onion mixture.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Optional: Drizzle a little extra balsamic vinegar on top for added zing!
