For the Rice

How to Make Mushroom Rice
Rinse the rice under cold water to remove excess starch.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
Sauté onion and garlic until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, around 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the rinsed rice and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in vegetable broth, adding salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
