- 1 lb Ground chicken a lean protein
- 2 tbsp Nashville hot chicken seasoning for spice
- 1 medium Onion yellow or sweet for a milder taste
- 2 cloves Garlic fresh preferred
- 1 can Diced tomatoes fire-roasted recommended
- 1 can Kidney beans or pinto beans
- 1 can Black beans
- 2 cups Chicken broth low-sodium recommended
- 2 tbsp Olive oil or neutral oil

- to taste Pepper
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
Sauté diced onion and minced garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in Nashville hot chicken seasoning, mixing well with the chicken.
Combine diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
For extra flavor, consider using fire-roasted diced tomatoes. Top with fresh cilantro if desired.
