How to Make Pandoro Soft Bites
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, gently warm the milk and dissolve the dry yeast in it.
Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until combined, then mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
Knead the dough by hand for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Gradually incorporate the softened butter until fully absorbed.
Let the dough rise covered in a warm area for about 2 hours until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough, shape it into a round ball, and place into a pandoro mold.
Allow the dough to rise again for about 1 hour until puffy.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack and dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
