Ingredients

For the Baguette

  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced

For the Shrimp Topping

  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

For the Avocado Mixture

  • 2 Avocados ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juiced

Instructions

How to Make Shrimp Avocado Crostini

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) so the baguette toasts perfectly.
  • Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush them generously with olive oil.
  • Bake the bread for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
  • Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl and mix in the lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a generous amount of the avocado mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top each slice with the sautéed shrimp and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For an extra kick, drizzle some hot sauce over the top before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
