How to Make Shrimp Orzo In Lemon Garlic Sauce

  • Begin by boiling water in a pot and adding the orzo pasta. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until tender but slightly firm. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, drizzle 3 tablespoons of olive oil and heat it over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  • Toss in the peeled and deveined shrimp, cooking for around 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then add the drained orzo to the skillet, mixing everything well for another 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly to incorporate all the ingredients.
  • Remove from heat, plate your Shrimp Orzo, and garnish with extra parsley.
