Instructions

How to Make Shrimp Orzo Lemon Garlic

  • Cook the orzo according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and heat over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Gently toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and zest along with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked orzo to the shrimp mixture and mix well, allowing everything to heat together for an additional minute.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top before serving.
