For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey adds sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce enhances umami flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce adjust to taste

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger freshly minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil good quality for sautéing
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large pan, warm the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Gently add the shrimp to the pan, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  • While the shrimp is cooking, combine honey, soy sauce, and sriracha in a bowl.
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir well.
  • Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  • Spoon the Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp onto a plate and serve hot.
