Instructions

How to Make Steak and Boursin Pasta

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak to the skillet, season it with salt and pepper, and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  • Remove the cooked steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Sauté minced garlic and cherry tomatoes in the same skillet for 2–3 minutes.
  • Introduce the spinach and cook for 1–2 minutes until it wilts.
  • Lower the heat, then add the creamy Boursin cheese to the skillet.
  • Pour in the beef broth (or the reserved pasta water) and stir vigorously to form a smooth, cohesive sauce.
  • Return the cooked steak and drained pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Taste your creation and adjust with more salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, a sprinkle of grated Parmesan can be added when serving.
