  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch to thicken the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water to dissolve cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for fragrant aroma

Instructions

  • Cook noodles: Prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse them under cold water to prevent sticking. Set them aside.
  • Whisk sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch mixed with water, and sesame oil. Whisk until smooth.
  • Heat oil: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Cook beef: Add the sliced flank steak in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add more oil: Pour remaining vegetable oil into the skillet.
  • Stir-fry veggies: Add bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Combine beef and noodles: Add cooked beef and noodles, stirring to mix flavors.
  • Add sauce: Drizzle sauce over beef and noodles, tossing until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Finishing touch: Remove from heat and fold in green onions.
  • Serve: Spoon onto plates while warm, and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, rinse noodles thoroughly and avoid overcrowding the pan with beef for better browning. Stir-fry quickly for vibrant veggies.
