Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 pound Chicken breasts slice them thinly for quicker cooking

For the Noodles

  • 8 ounces Egg noodles provides a soft texture

For the Sauce

  • 4 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce consider low-sodium for a healthier option
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper adjust to taste

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil neutral oil works best
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil for a nutty finish

For Garnish

  • 2 stalks Green onions chopped for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, allowing them to cool slightly.
  • In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cooked egg noodles to the pan and gently toss until well-coated.
  • Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and mix everything together.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Optional: A sprinkle of sesame seeds can add a delightful crunch.
