Ingredients

For the Base

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cups Mini marshmallows For melting
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies

For the Sweetness

  • 1 cup Chopped strawberries Fresh
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips For drizzling
  • Red food coloring Optional

Directions

  • In a large pot, start by melting 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
  • If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring to the melted mixture and stir until pink.
  • Remove from heat and gently fold in 3 cups of Rice Krispies and 1 cup of chopped strawberries.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan and press down firmly.
  • Allow to cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Once cool, cut the treats into squares and drizzle with white chocolate if desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use fresh strawberries chopped evenly. Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature to ensure optimal chewy consistency.
