Ingredients

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs can use gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese adds richness
  • 1 large Egg binding agent
  • 2 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 tbl Italian seasoning herb blend
  • 1 tsp Salt to enhance flavors
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper for a gentle kick

For the Zoodles and Sauce

  • 4 cups Zucchini noodles low-carb alternative
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce jarred or homemade
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Mix all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl until evenly blended.
  • Form the meat mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes or until they reach 165°F internal temperature.
  • Heat the marinara sauce in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the zucchini noodles to the warm marinara sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are tender.
  • Serve the zoodles on plates, topped with meatballs and a sprinkle of fresh basil.

Notes

To enhance richness, consider adding a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
