Instructions

How to Make Valentine Crinkle Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In another bowl, combine sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Place your cookie dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Once chilled, form 1-inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the dough balls on it.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and tops are crinkled.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, add pink or red sprinkles before baking.
